Operating for over 70 years, Solbet is the largest producer of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) wall materials in Poland and one of the largest in Europe, dispatching over 2 million cubic meters of AACblocks each year.
Due to increasing requests by designers for BIM tools, the company approached us to develop add-on for Revit.
We created an application for Solbet which significantly speeds up work by helping designers rapidly select appropriate products and then apply these products to their models.
The app features a:
Wall generator
- Product and material databases
- Mechanisms that sort and filter products according to specified parameters
- System wall type generator with all manufacturer parameters
- Access to technical materials (declarations, certificates, technical approvals, instructions) from a dialog window
- Auto-updates through the cloud as the only source of info feeding the application
- Replacement of walls in the model with walls from Solbet

- U parameters based on selected Solbet blocks, thickness of insulation material and lambda parameters
- Insulation thickness based on Solbet bricks,
Lintel generator
- Automatic selection and insertion of system lintels based on context read from the model (opening width, thickness of bearing layer, etc.)
